I can't recommend this Lumina Eye Care highly enough. In fact, I already have recommended it to family and friends. I started seeing Dr. Joanna Yu a few years ago. Her clinic employs friendly and professional staff. The clinic is clean, modern and has high tech machinery. It also has a great selection of glasses and sunglasses. Dr. Yu has a gentle demeanour (I'm terrified of going to the eye doctor but feel comfortable with her) and explains everything thoroughly.

I was impressed with Dr. Yu. She was thorough and took the time to fully explain everything to me. HH

It's always an enjoyable experience with Dr. Yu and the staff at Lumina Eye Care. Highly relational, helpful, and knowledgeable 👍🏻 I don't believe I've ever had to wait for an appointment either which is always a pleasant surprise for any health-related care.

Took my children here after changing their optometrist and it was a great experience. The doctor was very professional and was happy to answer any of my questions. She was also very knowledgeable about everything.

We’ve been going to Dr. Yu for the past 2yrs. She is a very caring, knowledgeable. She takes her time and answers questions you have and explains everything in details. We are very lucky to have her as our optometrist.

A big shout of Thank-you for Dr Amy Chow and the nice receptionist (feeling bad that I don't know how to spell her name)! My husband had cataract surgery today and developed complications. Dr. Chow and the receptionist both stayed way past clinic closing time to help him. They didn't leave until they connected him to a Sunnybrook emergency ophthalmologist! Lumina has the best staff! They are polite, thorough, and extremely professional! The clinic is also spacious and super clean.

I got an eye exam at Lumina eye care with Dr.Amy Chow and she was super nice and kind also she explained the whole process and the test result which i was very satisfied with that she care about the patient and also the front staff were very nice as well. I like how the place was very cozy and clean in same time. I hope this review helps to find the right doctor and the staff.

I've finally found my favourite place to go for any eye related care! I had a very pleasant experience and I'm extremely satisfied with the services there. Dr. Yu and the staff were friendly and professional, and because they were so thorough with the eye exam, I found out my old prescriptions were too strong for me - which means my previous optometrist didn't give me the right numbers. So glad I found Lumina Eye Care!

Dr. Fung is knowledgable and caring. She has provided me with exceptional service for over ten years. The clinic is clean and equipped with advanced equipments. The staffs are friendly and professional. Highly recommend Dr. Fung and Lumina Eye Care's service.

Dr Maggie Fung is professional and takes great care of her patients! She takes the time to explain everything and answers all my questions. I've had such great experiences that I referred my whole extended family to see her! I highly recommend Dr Fung for anyone needing a new optometrist in the area!

My daughter and I have been going to Lumina since she had her first eye check up (she's 7 now). Dr. Yu is always very friendly and professional. My daughter looks forward to her eye appointments. The office if very welcoming. We only have only had good experiences here.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joanna Yu's for approximately 4 years. I have never had an optometrist who was so thorough and spent so much time explaining everything to me. In October of 2020 during a routine checkup she detected a macular hole in my eye. She immediately referred me to a Retinal Specialist at St. Michael's Hospital. I was operated on and the hole repaired. I can not recommend Dr. Yu enough.
