Dr. Maggie Fung

Dr. Maggie Fung completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences, and Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. She furthered her training in ocular diseases and therapeutics at the Veteran Affairs Medical Centre in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Fung received additional training in low vision during her primary care rotation in Scarborough. She has a special interest in myopia management in children by the use of orthokeratology or soft contact lenses.
Dr. Fung grew up in the Greater Toronto Area, and is fluent in English and Cantonese, and is conversational in Mandarin. She enjoys volunteering in her spare time at events such as homeless connect. She is also a major foodie and loves to travel and explore new places. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. In the future, she would love to go on another eye care mission.
